Three men have been arrested after a handgun and ammunition was found in Dublin.
Two cars were stopped by gardaí at around 3.45pm today on the Sarsfield Road in Ballyfermot.
The cars and the occupants were searched and a .38 calibre handgun, along with four rounds of ammunition, was seized.
The three men, aged 20, 23 and 31, were arrested and are being held at Ballyfermot and Clondalkin Garda Stations.
