Gardaí are investigating an arson attack on a house in Waterford City this morning.
A petrol bomb was thrown through the window of the house on Hennessy's Road at around 2.30am this morning.
The house was unoccupied at the time of the incident and fire services extinguished the fire quickly.
It is understood that this latest attack is connected to an ongoing feud between two families in the city. A number of other arson attacks have taken place in the last few days.
Gardaí have recovered firearms, ammunition, machetes and knives in planned searches in the area.
