A man has been arrested following a robbery at the Kilmallock branch of Bank of Ireland in Limerick.
Two masked men, one armed with a weapon, entered the bank at around 11.30am this morning, while a third man acted as lookout at the door.
The two men threatened staff and demanded money.
All three then made their getaway in what is believed to be a Rover car, with blacked out yellow number plates.
The gang got away with an undisclosed sum of money.
The man was arrested in the Martinstown area early this afternoon and is being questioned at Bruff Garda Station.
A car, believed to have been used in the raid, has also been seized and is being forensically examined.
