The space shuttle Discovery was visible in Irish skies last night, not long after it was launched from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on a 14-day mission to the International Space Station.
Astronomy Ireland said the shuttle and its external fuel tank streaked across the sky at around 10.21pm, 19 minutes after it blasted off.
It is expected to be visible here every night until 5 June.
The shuttle and its crew of seven are delivering the main section of Japan's Kibo science lab.
It is also carrying a new pump to repair the station's toilet, which failed last week.
It is the first shuttle flight with a new fuel tank, built with the upgrades demanded after the Columbia disaster.
