Murderer sentenced for other Arklow offences

A Dublin man who was convicted of the murder of a man in Arklow, Co Wicklow, has been sentenced to eight years for a number of related offences.

22-year-old Anthony O'Reilly of Cleggan Park, Ballyfermot was given a life sentence last month after hitting 21-year-old Daniel McDonald with his car in 2007.

Today, O'Reilly received an eight-year term for dangerous driving causing death and a further six years for reckless endangerment.
