A large amount of coins were stolen from an amusement centre in Youghal, Co Cork, in the early hours of this morning.
A number of people broke into the centre at about 3am and took a substantial amount of cash in €1 and €2 coins.
All of the suspects were wearing balaclavas. One was wearing a black jumper, another was wearing a two-tone jumper with horizontal stripes.
They made their getaway in a silver two-door Peugeot car.
Gardaí are asking people to be on the lookout for anyone presenting large quantities of coins.
