Two men have been arrested by gardaí investigating criminal feuds in Limerick city.
The men were detained after officers stopped a car in the city at around 2am this morning.
The car was found to have been stolen and a pistol was recovered.
Two men aged 23 and 20 years were arrested at the scene and are being held at Henry Street and Mayorstone Garda stations.
Local gardaí were assisted by members of the Emergency Response Unit in the operation.
