Up to 800 jobs are to be created in Northern Ireland.
Telecommunications company Firstsource Solutions is creating 300 jobs in Derry and another 500 at another location which has yet to be chosen.
Firstsource, which has its headquarters in India, already employs over 900 people in Belfast and the northwest.
The company provides back office processing services to a wide range of businesses.
Jobs creation agency, Invest Northern Ireland, has given £7m in grant aid towards the project.
The jobs boost comes ahead of next week's major US-Northern Ireland investment conference in Belfast. It is hoped more jobs will arise from that.
Separately, two companies in Dublin have announced they are to create a small number of jobs.
CUNA Mutual is creating 25 posts in the city centre, while United BioSource Corporation is setting up a new office, which will add 20 jobs. Its new Dublin office will focus on technologies that help pharmaceutical companies conduct clinical trials.
CUNA Mutual is to locate its new European headquarters in Dublin city centre's Harcourt Street in a $14.6m investment.
