A 20-year-old man has gone on trial for the murder of his friend in Irishtown in Dublin last year.
Mark Green of Tritonville Road in Sandymount in south Dublin denies murdering 19-year-old Alan Young in March 2007.
The Central Criminal Court heard that the two men had been friends for most of their lives but a row between the two resulted in Mr Young being stabbed through the heart.
