A man is still being questioned in connection with a gun attack on another man in Galway.
A 21-year-old was shot and wounded in the hand by a lone gunman in Salthill on Friday night.
The victim was sitting in a fast food delivery van with two other men when the incident happened.
The 42-year-old is being held under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act.
