Four men have been arrested following the seizure of 8kg of cocaine in Dublin.
Two members of a north Dublin criminal gang were arrested along with the two men from the UK.
The men were detained when detectives from the Garda National Drugs Unit stopped a car off Pearse Street just before 10am this morning. The drugs were found in a holdall bag in the car.
Gardaí say the drugs have an estimated street value of up to €2m.
The four men, aged 44, 47, 23 and 25, are being questioned at Pearse Street Garda Station.
Gardaí believe the two English men may have brought the drugs from the UK and they are investigating a link between a British gang and the north Dublin criminal gang.
