Solicitor offers to mediate in feud

A prominent Limerick solicitor has offered to mediate between rival feuding factions in Limerick.

John Devane has described the current situation in Limerick as a powder keg waiting to explode.

He said those involved are indiscriminate in who they kill or injure.

Speaking on RTÉ Radio's Morning Ireland, he said he believes someone like himself who would be trusted by all sides should sit down with those involved.
