A 23-year-old man, who was held in connection with the murder of David Brett in north Cork, has been released without charge.
The man was arrested yesterday.
34-year-old David Brett was shot dead near the village of Ballydesmond in north Cork on 21 May 2007.
He was a known drug dealer.
