A former tax inspector has brought charges against the Minister for Justice, the State and the Attorney General for damages arising from the investigation into his wife's murder 15 years ago.
Grace Livingstone was found dead at their Malahide Co Dublin home in December 1992.
She had been bound and badly beaten and had suffered a gunshot wound to her head.
Mr Livingstone denies any involvement in his wife's murder. He was arrested and questioned about the killing at the time.
He has accused gardaí of negligence and breach of duty in the management of the investigation into his wife's murder.
Mr Livinstone claims that he and his two children suffered emotional distress, a charge rejected by the State.
