A man and a woman who were arrested in connection with the murder of Aidan Myers in Co Louth in December 2006 have been released.
The 25-year-old man and 60-year-old woman were arrested this morning and were being questioned at Dundalk Garda Station.
Mr Myers, 37, was murdered by a gang who attempted to hijack a car in which he was a passenger.
An altercation then took place during which Mr Myers was killed.
He was found lying on the road by gardaí who later arrived at the scene.
