The Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal is to sit on 22 April to hear allegations against missing solicitor Michael Lynn.
High Court President Mr Justice Richard Johnson adjourned the action being taken by the Law Society against Mr Lynn until 6 May, pending the outcome of the tribunal's hearing.
The court was told this morning that the tribunal has attempted to serve papers on Mr Lynn at a number of addresses.
Correspondence sent to Portugal was returned with a letter saying Mr Lynn was no longer a manager or shareholder in Kendar Portugal and had no relationship with the company.
If the tribunal finds against Mr Lynn it has the power to fine him up to €15,000 or recommend to the High Court that he be struck off the Roll of Solicitors.
