Two men, aged 22 and 23, have been arrested and charged with section four rape in Cahir, Co Tipperary.
They were arrested early on Saturday morning following a complaint of serious sexual assault in Clonmel on 15 March.
Five men were arrested initially, but three were later released without charge.
Of the two men charged, one was remanded to Limerick prison.
The other was released on bail conditions.
Both are due back in Cahir district court on 28 March.
