Gardaí are investigating the discovery of a pipebomb in Crumlin in Dublin.

The device was found at the door of a house on Crumlin Park last night, following an anonymous call to gardaí.

An Army bomb disposal team made safe the device without any controlled explosion.

It is the second such incident in the area since yesterday morning.
