Gardaí investigating an incident in which a man barricaded himself inside a house in Co Kilkenny two days ago have recovered four more firearms at the scene.
This brings the total number of weapons seized at the house in Graiguenamanagh to seven - one rifle and 6 handguns.
The man left the house voluntarily on Friday night, following a stand off with gardaí which lasted just over three hours.
In an initial search, three firearms and a quantity of jewellery were recovered.
The man is receiving medical care.
