The death of a 32-year-old woman in Galway city is being investigated by gardaí.
The woman was removed by ambulance from a house on the eastern side of the city yesterday afternoon and was pronounced dead in hospital some time later.
Emergency service personnel were called to the house at Lios na Run in Ballybane by the dead woman's sister.
The assistant state pathologist Dr Michael Curtis will perform a post mortem examination on the body at University College Hospital later today.
