The entrepreneur and broadcaster, Chris Carey, has died at the age of 62.
Mr Carey was a pioneer of Irish pirate radio in the early 1980s and had set up a number of unlicenced radio stations, including Radio Nova.
He had been in hospital in the Canary Islands since suffering a stroke on a business trip there several weeks ago.
