There has been a security alert at the main postal sorting office at Mallusk outside Belfast.
A suspicious package was discovered by staff and British Army bomb experts were called in to examine it.
The building was evacuated for a time.
The PSNI says a viable but unstable device was found and it has been taken away for further examination.
Staff were allowed back into the building shortly before midday.
