A detective garda sergeant is to stand trial later this year charged with disclosing the contents of a confidential report.
Detective Sergeant Robert McNulty of Boden Park in Rathfarnham in Dublin has pleaded not guilty to the allegation.
He is accused of disclosing the contents of a draft report of a Commission of Investigation.
The report dealt with the charging of Dean Lyons, a homeless heroin addict, with two murders he did not commit.
A trial date has been set for December of this year at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court and Mr McNulty was remanded on continuing bail.
