Former Fine Gael TD Liam T Cosgrave has denied receiving a £5,000 bribe in the grounds of a south Dublin church before a funeral.
Frank Dunlop told the Mahon Tribunal that Mr Cosgrave asked for the money in November 1992 in return for supporting the Quarryvale development.
But Mr Cosgrave said he was never at the church on Newtownpark Avenue on 11 November, the date claimed by Mr Dunlop.
Mr Cosgrave said he had received a political donation from Mr Dunlop, but denied it was a bribe.
