The parents of the Swiss teenager who was strangled to death in Galway three months ago, have arrived in the city to see where their daughter spent her last days.
The body of 18-year-old Manuela Riedo was found in undergrowth along the shoreline of Lough Atalia in Renmore.
The garda team who led the investigation into her death will meet Hans and Arlette Riedo to update them on the case.
A 27-year-old Galway man was charged with her murder last October.
Gerald Barry from Rahoon was further remanded in custody to Castlerea Prison earlier this month.
He will appear again before Harristown District Court in Castlerea on 18 January.
It is understood the parents of Manuela Riedo will stay in Galway for a week.
Gardaí are expected to accompany them to the scene of their only child's death where they plan to lay a single white rose.
Manueal Riedo was strangled just days after arriving in Ireland to do an English course at the Galway Language Centre.
