Police in south Belfast were tonight investigating an attack on two men by a gang wielding hammers.
The victims were attacked at around 4.45pm in the Knockbreda Park of the city.
It is believed that up to five men, some of whom were carrying hammers, were involved.
It is understood police do not believe the motive was sectarian.
