Gardaí investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in Co Longford have said that foul play is not suspected.
Deputy State Pathologist Dr Michael Curtis has been carrying out an examination of the scene in Ballymahon.
The man's body was found at his home near the River Inny on the Athlone Road near Ballymahon yesterday evening.
He was last seen at his Mullingar Road home on St Stephen's Day.
He is said to have been in his 50s and from a well-known business family in the town.
