The parents of Paul Quinn have met Minister for Foreign Affairs Dermot Ahern to raise allegations that the IRA was involved in their son's murder.

Stephen and Bríd Quinn, accompanied by SDLP MLA Dominic Bradley, met the minister in Dundalk this morning.

Mr Bradley said the meeting had been positive and constructive

Mr Quinn was beaten to death by a gang of men in a farm building in Co Monaghan eight weeks ago.

Supporters of the Quinns have also organised public meetings to demand that his killers be brought to justice.

A meeting in Crossmaglen last Thursday was attended by 300 people, including the Labour Party's Liz McManus and Fine Gael members Seymour Crawford and Fergus O'Dowd.
