A 36-year-old woman has been arrested after customs at Dublin Airport seized 1kg of cocaine worth €70,000.
Customs officers became suspicious when the Italian woman got off a flight from Amsterdam yesterday.
After being questioned she was taken to Beaumont Hospital where she was found to have been carrying 77 pellets of cocaine internally.
The woman currently being held at Santry Garda Station.
