A man has died following a stabbing incident in Walkinstown in Dublin.
The incident occurred at around 9pm in a laneway off Beechfield Road.
The man was taken to St James's Hospital as a result of the incident and was pronounced dead a short time later.
The scene is preserved and an investigation has begun.
