A man and a woman have been arrested in connection with the shooting of a uniformed garda in Dublin in September.
Garda Paul Sherlock was shot and injured after he stopped a stolen car in Ballybough.
The man and woman, both aged 29, were arrested in a car in Clondalkin this evening, in an operation backed up by the Emergency Response Unit.
The man is being questioned at Mountjoy Garda Station while the woman is being detained at Store Street Garda Station.
