A 17-year-old boy has been wounded in a shooting in Artane in Dublin.
The boy was injured in the hand and leg after being shot at a house in Ennel Drive in Artane at 4.30am.
Gardaí believe one gunman was involved in the incident which happened in a downstairs bedroom.
The man has been taken to Beaumont Hospital for treatment.
The boy's injuries are not life threatening and he is in a stable condition in hospital.
It is understood the alarm was raised by other people who were in the house at the time.
No motive for the attack has yet been established.
The scene has been preserved for technical examination. No arrests have so far been made.
Gardaí are investigating the incident.
