Three held after Dublin shooting

Three men were arrested in Dublin in the early hours of this morning after a shooting incident in the Finglas area.

The incident is reported to have started with an attempt to steal a motorcycle from a house.

During an altercation with people inside the house, one of two men said to have been involved produced a firearm and fired up to three shots.

No-one was injured.

In a follow-up operation, gardaí recovered a handgun, believed to be a Beretta.

The three men who were arrested are all in their 20s.
