Two men have been brought before a court in Dublin charged in connection with the recovery of drugs in the south of the city yesterday.
Michael Rochford, 25, of St Anne's Road West, Kimmage, and his cousin, 32-year-old Peter Rochford of Dromard Road in Drimnagh, Dublin 12, were charged under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
Michael Rochford was released on bail and will appear in court again on 2 November.
Peter Rochford was remanded with consent to bail and will appear before Cloverhill Court on 26 October.
A third man, 44-year-old Christoper Murphy of Bushy Park House, Terenure in Dublin 6 was charged last night. He was also remanded with consent to bail and will appear before Cloverhill Court on 26 October.
Gardaí from the Garda National Drugs Unit and local detectives seized cocaine, heroin, cannabis and ecstasy worth €600,000 and a firearm during two days of searches in Crumlin and Terenure.
