PSNI investigates fires at two orange halls

Police in Northern Ireland are investigating fires at two orange halls in the Portadown area of Co Armagh yesterday.

Tamnificarbet Orange Hall on the Carbet Road suffered smoke damage and broken windows after being attacked early yesterday morning.

Fire crews were called to deal with an incident at Bocombra Orange Hall on the Old Lurgan Road last night.

A wheelie bin had been set on fire at the front of the building.

It is believed that a window at the back of the building was also smashed and flammable liquid was poured in.

The building suffered smoke damage in the incident.
