A court in Derry has sentenced four men to three months in prison in connection with an attack on a bar in the city centre last night.
The court heard they had shouted sectarian slogans and that damage totaling £3,000 (€4,328) had been caused.
The PSNI released four other people unconditionally, one of them a juvenile.
The incident happened before last night's FAI eircom League Cup final between Derry City and Bohemians at the Tavern Bar in Derry.
Several windows were broken and a girl in her 20s was injured.
Kingsley Curry, who owns the pub, said there were only four drinkers inside at the time.
'They were throwing stones and bottles; whatever they could get their hands on. There was no glass left in any of the windows,' he said.
Police said there had been arrests for criminal damage, assault and riotous behaviour but added sectarianism had not been established.
A PSNI spokesman said the arrests were a result of good pro-active police work and speedy review of CCTV footage.
