A murder investigation has been launched following post mortem results on the body of a 42-year-old man found in Co Westmeath.
The man's body was discovered in a camper van at Lough Lene near Collinstown at around 4am this morning.
Post mortem results indicated that he died from internal injuries caused by blunt force.
A man in his 20s remains in custody in Mullingar in connection with the incident.
Gardaí have sealed off the car park where the body was found.
There were three camper vans parked in the area and it is not yet clear in which vehicle the body was discovered. The car park is one used by local anglers.
