Gardaí in Co Donegal have seized 50kg of herbal cannabis in an operation involving customs, the PSNI and the Garda National Drugs Unit.
The drugs were smuggled into Ireland concealed in a container of computer parts. It is estimated that the drugs are worth more than €500,000.
The drugs came in through Dublin Airport from Amsterdam and were monitored to Co Donegal.
The 27 and 47-year-old men from Northern Ireland were arrested as they went to pick them up in Falcarragh Co Donegal. They are being detained in Letterkenny Garda station.
