A man in his 20s was arrested shortly after 11pm last night in relation to the fatal stabbing in Sandymount, Dublin.
Mark Spellman died after being stabbed during an altercation on in the early hours of yesterday morning.
He was 26-years-old, and from Dalkey in south Co Dublin.
