A 20-year-old man has appeared before Dublin District Court in Kilmainham on a number of drugs charges.
It follows the seizure of drugs with an estimated street value of €3.5m on Saturday in Dublin.
Anthony McEnroe, with an address at Slievemore Road in Drimnagh, was remanded in custody to Cloverhill prison, to appear before the court again on Friday.
The court heard that Anthony McEnroe was arrested at a premises on JFK Drive in west Dublin on Saturday morning.
He was charged with two counts of possession of an illegal drug, and two counts of possession of an illegal drug with intent to supply.
Gardaí applied to the court to have Mr McEnroe remanded in custody for one week. But Mr McEnroe's solicitor, Brian McEnzie, applied for bail on behalf of his client.
Gardaí made a strong objection to bail being granted on a number of grounds. After some discussion, Judge Patrick McMahon refused to grant bail.
