The Fine Gael Parliamentary Party has endorsed the continuing leadership of Enda Kenny.
Under the party's rules, the leader must face a motion of confidence after every election in which he does not become Taoiseach.
TDs and Senators voted by secret ballot, and it is understood the result was an 'overwhelming' vote in favour of Mr Kenny continuing as leader.
