Two quizzed over Limerick drugs find

Gardaí and customs officers have seized herbal cannabis with a street value of €150,000 at an apartment in Limerick city.

12kg of the drug were discovered during a search of the apartment in the Ballysimon area yesterday.

A man and a woman, both in their 30s, are being questioned in connection with the seizure.

It is understood that the drugs arrived in Ireland in a parcel from South Africa at the An Post depot in Portlaoise.
