Gardaí in Limerick have seized a number of firearms during a series of planned searches in the Moyross area.
A number of guns, including a sub-machine gun, were seized. A quantity of ammunition and two balaclavas were also seized.
Over fifty properties were searched during the operation which was carried out by a team of thirty Gardaí.
No arrests were made at the time.
