Police in the United States are investigating the deaths of an Irish man and his two daughters in New Jersey.
The bodies of Thomas Reilly and his daughters, Megan and Kelly, were discovered at a house in a small town near Newark.
It is understood police were called after the man's wife arrived at the house to collect her children.
No one answered the door so she called the police.
They broke into the house last night, finding the bodies of 6-year-old Megan and 5-year-old Kelly in the bath.
The body of 46-year-old Mr Reilly was found in the attic.
He was originally from Ballyjamesduff in Co Cavan.
The children's mother, Teresa Reilly, had dropped off the children to spend time with their father just hours earlier.
It is understood that police are not seeking anyone else in connection with the deaths.
