A 24-year-old man has been before Limerick District Court charged with murdering an organised crime figure in the city last year.
Gary Campion from Pineview Gardens in Moyross is accused of killing Frankie Ryan in the Moyross estate last year.
Mr Ryan was shot as he sat in a car near his home, also at Pineview Gardens, on 17 September.
Mr Campion was remanded in custody.
