The second group of Garda Reserves have graduated at the Garda College in Templemore, Co Tipperary today.
The 32 male and 16 female reservists will serve at various locations.
The group comes from a diverse range of backgrounds, including bus drivers and people from the banking, teaching, and engineering sectors.
The class commenced training at the Garda College on 20 January this year, and were be sworn in by the Garda Commissioner Noel Conroy.
The first batch of 36 trainees became fully operational members of the Garda Reserve on 15 December 2006.
