Detectives have been given more time to question three people about the murder of a man in Derry at the weekend.
Jim McFadden was beaten at the front door of his house as he returned home from a wedding on Saturday morning.
His 15-year-old daughter and a youth of 16 were with him at the time of the attack in the city's Moyola Drive area at around 3am.
Mr McFadden's daughter was also attacked and received facial injuries while her friend had his arm broken in the incident.
It is believed sticks or baseball bats may have been used by his attackers.
Two men and a woman were detained after the father of four died in hospital from his injuries.
