The Lansdowne Road Redevelopment Company will be continuing negotiations over the weekend to agree a compensation deal with local residents.
Construction work on the stadium, which requires the closure of the DART line over two Bank Holiday weekends, cannot go ahead until Dublin City Council agrees to donate a half acre strip of land.
A local councillor, Labour's Dermot Lacey, says they are hopeful that a compensation package can be agreed.
The back wall of the new stadium will back directly on 14 houses while a further 45 will also be affected.
It is believed the developers are offering a package worth €1.8m, but councillors say it should be €2.5m.
The local councillors are meeting on Tuesday afternoon to decide whether to recommend the deal to a full council meeting.
