Gardaí have confirmed that they are treating as murder the death of a 30-year-old man in Killarney, Co Kerry this morning.
The man has been named as James Brazier. He was a native of the town but had lived in England for many years.
The victim's body was found at a house in the Pinewood Estate after 2am this morning.
He was removed to hospital in Tralee, where he died just before five o'clock this morning.
A post mortem examination was carried out on the victim's body.
The scene at Pinewood Estate has been preserved for technical examination.
