Gardaí investigating the shooting dead of Paul Kelly in Clontarf on Friday night have released two of five people who were being held in connection with the murder.
The two men were released without charge this morning and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
Three others, two men and a woman, are still in custody.
Two of them, a man in his early 20s and a woman in her mid 40s, are being held at Raheny Garda station.
Another man in his early 50s is being held at Clontarf Garda station.
The two men released were 19-years-old and 25-years-old.
Last night's post mortem examination confirmed that Mr Kelly was shot a number of times.
The attack occurred at around 11.45pm at a block of apartments on Charlemont Road where the victim was visiting a family member.
Gardaí believe Mr Kelly was attacked by two men armed with both a shotgun and a handgun.
Mr Kelly was a father of two.
Detectives are investigating the possibility that his killing is linked to a dispute between a number of people in Dublin's north inner city.
